BioI lived in Colorado for six years, but I'm from Louisiana. I miss being active in a local music scene, so I'm searching for bands here in DC.
I have a degree in Journalism and work as a legislative analyst in DC. I've been here nearly a year, and so far I absolutely detest the East Coast. I love my job, though, and it's the only thing keeping me here.
I've been all over the world, with great opportunities. So far Barcelona and London are my favorite cities, though I enjoyed getting drunk and lost in Florence with my little sister, Megan. I am disappointed that this map does not include Antarctica - one place I've been that very few people can claim.

Speaking of:
Megan is my baby sister, smart as hell, a professional dancer (legit. not a stripper).
Ashley is my older sister, a PR agent for the MS Air Guard and mother of my two awesome nephews, Michael and Ross.
Ron is my older brother, and I can thank him for my wonderful, warped sense of humor. Carol is his wife, who loves pickles almost as much as I do (almost).
Mom and Dad are just plain incredible.
Patrick and Julie are the mother and father of my son, who they adopted. They are like another big brother and sister to me.
Patrick and Isabella are my son and his sister, almost like another niece and nephew. Cute as bugs, just like Michael and Ross.
As for the user pic, well, sometimes I'm like Gir - crazy, silly and more than any normal person can handle. Sometimes I'm like Zim - irritable, mopey and convinced that someday I WILL take over the world. Someday. If you're lucky, I MIGHT let you live.
I love Twilight. Like...really, really love it, in ways I know I shouldn't but still do. If Jasper were real and I'd move in with him and Alice in a heartbeat. I like the movies, the books, the fansites, the celeb gossip. It's my guilty pleasure (and believe me, I'm made to feel guilty for it quite often).
I'm obsessed with Chechnya. It's...my own Darfur, I guess. Not to downplay the situation in the Sudan or the Middle East or anywhere else in any way, it's just a cause I got into in college and I find the rift in Russia/Chechnya very interesting. It'll be...an experience to see what life will be like if the Caspian Pipeline is no longer needed, or as important.
